Clear Head Coaching

It is possible to relax and enjoy work – whatever your job.

“For faster results, try slowing down” – Lily Tomlin
"There is more to life than increasing its speed." - Gandhi

Do you identify with Kate’s story (see below)? Do you struggle to make time for the things that you know are important? Are you addicted to adrenaline and being busy? Is your whole team caught up in action and driving short term results – to the point that long range thinking and creativity is neglected?

Imagine how it would feel to...

  • Be energised and calm... clear-headed and decisive
  • Know you are putting first things first, making time for the important not just the urgent
  • Have plenty of time for quality thinking
  • Reduce your working hours and get more done

KATE’S STORY
“During my late twenties I was doing well at work, but paying a high price for career satisfaction. Excessive hours and constantly high adrenaline were bad for my health and my relationships. Insomnia had become normal, and I was plagued by a recurring throat infection. I would often feel anxious and tearful on Sundays, anticipating the stress of the week ahead. I hated the pressure, but it was the only way I knew to be good at my job. I thought that letting up would mean letting people down. At the beginning of 2004, my boss encouraged me to start work with a coach, and nine months later things were unrecognisably different. I’d learnt new skills in prioritising, managing time and saying no, and as a result I was working in a much more decisive and focused way. Reducing my hours by about a third meant I had time for exercise and relaxation, so I was having more fun and sleeping well for the first time in 10 years. I also significantly improved my job performance – I got the company’s top performance rating for 2004. I’m living proof that career success doesn’t have to be about excessive stress and personal sacrifice. If I can change, anyone can!”
